What Is Typhoid?

Typhoid is spread by a bacterium called "Salmonella". Typhoid is more common in adults but can also affect children. Four different types of salmonella can spread the disease.

Food is transmitted to the mand's body through germs, which are transmitted by flies or dust from one place to another or from foodstuffs.

How does Typhoid Spread?

Eating contaminated food transmits germs to a healthy person. Sometimes sewage canals in an area are damaged or contaminated with drinking water, or if the drinking water supply is contaminated in any way.

The bacterium Salmonella can also be spread by eating chopped fruits, eating dirty water, and eating openly sold food and drink contaminated with kidney dust.

Typhoid is more prevalent in activities because of the high bee breeding season.

Bacteria enter the human body through the use of contaminated food or water, and especially people with low immunity are exposed to the disease. Symptoms of the disease appear within one to three weeks after the germs enter the body. Typhoid continues to spread as long as the bacteria (Salmonella) is excreted in its feces (urine and feces).

There are some people in whom the disease reappears after a while (with minor symptoms) due to a lack of complete health water. In such people, even after apparently healthy water, the bacteria Salmonella is present and can cause the disease. Individuals are called (careers).
