According to estimates presented by the American Cancer Society and the American Society of Clinical Oncologists, approximately 3.4 million Americans may be diagnosed with skin cancer in the year 2022.
The report published by the American Institute states that a large number of people suffering from the disease (3.3 million) will have basal cells while others (99 thousand 780) will be affected by melanoma.
What is melanoma?
